@GregorDavies-U04FX4ZMBJ90I shipped a opensource motor controller and datalogging system for Greenpower race cars, designed in order to maximise the speed and reduce the cost of these vechiles designed by young engineers and university teams. The motor controller is based around the RPI pico w and is a simple THT based pcb easy for teenagers to assemble and fix when at races, it's currently being made by jlcpcb thanks to onboard and I should be able to fit it to the car next week. @EddyZhao0A while ago I began work on a robot car I am building just for fun! The car's goal is to reach as high of a speed as possible. That's it - there is no other goal. I built the car in Onshape and chose/ordered the parts. I received the parts, but haven't gotten to build much of the car yet. Unfortunately Arcade will be over when the car is fully built, but I still am having a lot of fun making this car! I designed the car about a month ago, but I didn't make a scrapbook post for my sessions yet.

I used Python OpenCV and Pygame to create a simple program that detects the most prevalent colour in a camera frame and uses it to change the speed of a car in a game. The project isn't done, and it has a lot of bugs/issues, but it works, to an extent.

@kaileh570Expanded my godot driving game to include XR support! github.com/kaileh57/arcademultiracing/tree/xr Actually works pretty well, I recommend you connect your controllers in a similar way or just hold them. A steering wheel is projected in game, and you drive with the triggers. AFAIK this is only tested with oculus, simply install the app, connect your headset and start a link session, and then run the game through the editor (no built version this time). You do have to manually control the IP and port in the multiplayer.gd file, I couldn't get canvas layers working with XR. Some buttons may still require keyboard input sometimes. Consult the control layout, VR is a mess!

@ken0This time, I created the third version of the remote control car PCB. The goal was to make the PCB as small and inexpensive as possible. Due to the reduced size, I had to spend more time on layout and routing. Additionally, my lack of knowledge regarding RF ICs and antennas led to several issues during this part of the design. They took up a significant amount of space, and I believe there is still room for improvement. I plan to optimize this aspect of the design in the next version.
